Thanksgiving Day Twists: Tablescaping

November 21, 2016 – We’ve shown you how to make the meal this month in our Thanksgiving Day Twists series (desserts, potatoes and the main dish), but how about setting the stage? No need to pull out the big bucks to make that holiday table party ready! Channel your inner designer with some items found at home and some ALDI holiday must-buys. You’ll be shocking your guests with more than just your cooking!

Pop by your local ALDI and grab seasonal ALDI Blooms to feature in left over Mason Jars or bottles you have in your kitchen. An artistic tip? Remember the Rule of Three and use an odd number of flowers in your bouquet to make your table setting more appealing and memorable.

Stack It Up
Pile up some of your old books and use them to stagger the height of your candles. Drape burlap over the books and use different candle heights. This will help add depth and dimension to your beautiful table display, leaving your guests drooling before the main dish even hits the table!

Picture Perfect Produce
Autum fruit and vegetables. Selective focus. Let’s not forget the easiest trick in the book. No Thanksgiving table is complete without an array of favorite holiday veggies and fruits. Look for produce that brings out holiday colors such as rich cranberries, a variety of gourds and fresh greens and cinnamon to complete your table.

What do you do to spruce up your table for the holidays? Tell us in the comments!
