Winesap apples are my absolute, all time favorite Fall Fruit! I haven’t been able to find it in any market since I moved from Kansas many years ago. Mom and Dad would buy one or two bushels every October. They would last our family of 5 through the Winter…and then the terrible wait would begin before October would come around so we could have more of their best apple flavor in the world. They were equally good eating fresh or in pies. Now I have to settle for Jonathans. They are good, but not the same as Winesaps with their dark red outside and pink lines running through the inside.

In Germany is a Kitchen-Aid like “Thermomix” available for sale. Is it possible to purchase the same one here in USA with 110 V?
