Pine Nuts Three Ways

Try these tips for adding pine nuts to your autumn meals!

Add texture and flavor to your pasta dishes by sprinkling in a half cup of pine nuts. These nuts pair beautifully with spaghettis, parmesan-brown butter sauces and even kale pasta salad.

Pesto
For hearty flavor on a chilly fall evening, try pine nut pesto. This rich, traditional Italian sauce tastes divine poured over pasta or layered in a dip with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. Another ALDI favorite – spread on your favorite piece of toasted bread and top with fresh tomato slices.

Salad
For a kick of protein and depth of flavor, toss pine nuts over your side salad or add a handful to homemade pasta salad.
