Getting Crafty with Halloween Candy

October 14, 2015 – Buckets of candy lurking in your kitchen after Halloween? Try these recipes for leftover Halloween treats and extend the trick-or-treating fun with your little ones!

Monster Teeth
Keep the Halloween spirit alive with this better-for-you use for leftover candy corn. Slice apples in wedges and “glue” pairs of wedges together with peanut or almond butter. Push 4-5 pieces of candy corn into the nut butter to create the effect of monster teeth!

Candy-Stuffed Cookie Muffin
Don’t hesitate to take your post-Halloween chocolates up a notch. Put your bags of leftover candy to tasty use by combining with chocolate chip cookies. Fill muffin tins with cookie dough and press a chocolate into the center of each. Bake as usual and enjoy a Halloween-inspired cookie muffin!
